Bad Taste Cru are a pioneering UK Hip Hop theatre company, battle crew, and collective of teachers, Djs, MCs, graff writers, skaters and other artists. Growing over the years BTC have become one of the UKs top bboy crews, most cutting edge Hip Hop theatre companies, and run some of the most attended and respected Bboy events on the UK scene.
BTC present explosive and dramatic Breaking shows. To date BTC have done shows for corporate clients such as Nike, Sainsbury's and Mini, to music festivals such as Glastonbury, Oxygen, Juice Festival, as well as advertising for work companies like K Swiss, JD Sports and the Marriott Hotel Group.
Known for pushing the boundaries BTC Hip Hop theatre has seen them travel the world to perform at events such as San Francisco Hip Hop festival, Breaking Convention at Sadlers Well and Cultural Itau to name a few. They are also the first ever bboy crew to be commissioned for the prestigious place prize for contemporary dance in 2010.
Renowned for their battling prowess, individuality, and family ethos, BTC have a highly decorated history of competing in the UK and in Worldwide, by winning every major UK Bboy competition over the years and representing at a high level abroad.
