Gramski has been a huge fan of improvisation since he watched Charlie Chaplin as a child. At the age of fourteen he found what he considers to be ‘the ultimate form of improvisation’, freestyle rap.
At the age of nineteen Gramski moved to Vietnam where he became the local freestyle MC in Hanoi. He performed in front of thousands of people, supporting local DJs and artists such as Killa Kela and Akil the MC (J5). He even freestyled for GOLDIE in Saigon.
Once back in the UK Gramski won 2 freestyle competitions, a Hammer and Tongue Poetry slam and made a concept album titled ‘Dark Horses’.
Gramski now regularly plays solo events and gigs with his band ‘The Spoken Herd’. He has supported artists such as Hollie McNish, Chester P, Jehst, King Porter Stomp and Scroobius Pip.
