The Urban Soul Orchestra (USO) is a contemporary and versatile string ensemble with a unique twist, incorporating percussion, bass, DJ and vocals.
USO can provide varying styles of entertainment throughout an event, from chilled background music during drinks receptions, to a roof-raising big band to stir up the dance floor. Within these ensembles include a Chill Out Set, Best Of British, Acoustic Ensemble, Little Big Band, Big Band, Swing Band and DJ Set. All can be combined to provide bespoke entertainment tailored to specific events. Clients benefit from the luxury of booking just one band that caters to the varying needs of an event, with a unique look and style for each part.
USO have recently launched their new ensemble due to popular demand. Their 10 piece Swing Band includes the fantastic Stefan Booth and features classic swing songs from a bygone era.
They also now provide an orchestra Flash Mob, in which they surprise guests whilst masquerading as waiting staff before bursting into a rendition of Ravel's Bolero.
The USO have recently performed at the Cannes Film Festival, Monaco Grand Prix, the opening of One Hyde Park, Range Rover Evoque launch and the Audi Polo Awards to name but a few.
