Two of the most experienced Latin guitarists in the London Latin music scene, Guillermo and Juan collaborate with some of the finest percussionists in the UK to create an exciting acoustic sound.
The basic format of the band is an acoustic trio. Two guitars and vocals accompanied by Latin percussion (Congas / Bongos). This simple setup is extremely versatile for playing a wide repertoire of Latin American tropical music. They play Colombian cumbia, chandé and currulao, ‘Son’ from Cuba and Salsa from Puerto Rico and New York. Traditional corridos, rancheras and boleros from Mexico. Merengue from Dominican Republic and a few Argentinian tangos.
The past few months have seen the Los Musicos play in wellknown venues across the country including OXO Tower, Hilton Park Lane, Hootananny and Grange Hotels.
The well refined trio have also made numerous TV appearances including The Gadget Show and BBC1 Breakfast News over the Olympics.
