Jazz Thali are a London based jazz/traditional/fusion instrumental trio
interpreting musical pieces from retro Bollywood and from Hindu tradition,
including Greek rembetiko music, gypsy riffs and jazz tunes.
The band has developed a unique multicultural music style, exploring
a missing link between Eastern and Western traditions and orchestrations.
Extending the techniques of their instruments; tablas, saxophone, bouzouki, chord organ & percussion, Jazz Τhali produce sounds that straddle both traditional musics as well as
incorporating contemporary performance techniques.
Consisting of 3 of top London musicians Harvir, Tasos and Adrian fuse together to create a beautiful and unique sound. They have performed across London and the home counties with recent gigs at Jamboree, The Star and a residency at The Bird Cage.
