The Pavan Verma Groove Trio transcends musical barriers by fusing a diverse range of genres from Jazz, Pop, Bollywood and Soul, to Funky Soulful House and Latin Grooves.
They are adaptable to a variety of settings and events, and can either provide a show stopping central performance at a festival or product launch, or blend in with a cocktail set that crosses the globe.
The trio are led by saxophonist and flautist Pavan Verma, a classically trained and award winning soloist, session musician and performer whose credits include Bollywood legends and singers Kumar Sanu, Premi, Mala, Usha Uttap.
As a soloist and with his trio Pavan has toured extensively across Europe, USA and India, performing at prestigious events and venues large and small. Notable bookings have included Bollywood film launches with T-Series (India); Radio Mirchi (India); The Prince's Trust (UK); The Jazz Cafe (London); Royal Albert Hall (London); the Royal Courts of Justice (London); The Mint Leaf Lounge (London); The London Eye, Royal Automobile Club of London; Glasslands Gallery (New York); Jefferson Hotel (Washington DC).
The Pavan Verma Groove Trio comprises Saxophones/Flute; Percussion and Guitar. Additionally, Pavan is available as a soloist and often performs with a live DJ under the moniker 'SaxGuru'.
