Meet Bjorn, an incredibly realistic, life-size and animated polar bear, accompanied by his Inuit keeper Ursula.

Playful, mischievous and huggable, Bjorn is just about kept in check by Arctic Explorer Ursula, with a generous helping of seal!
Ursula provides a lively and informative natural history commentary, as members from the audience are invited to interact with the enormous creature. Think part petting zoo, part conservation information station.

Bjorn is a fully animated puppet with a highly skilled (and often very hot!) performer inside operating all the movements including the facial animations - blinking eyes, sniffing nose, opening mouth and also the live sounds from the custom built sound equipment.

As well as other magical interactive performances to help set the scene they have a specially built inflatable ice environment in which they perform to.

In addition to the many fundraisers, weddings (!?) and festivals, this street theatre show actually involves REAL science & has been performed at events such as BT Young Scientist of the Year, Cambridge Science Week, W5 Science Centre & World Oceans Day at Galway Aquarium!

Other entertainment acts include: Dinosaur, Pola Bear and Chinese New Year Characters.
