Filmeopia is an interactive activity that casts, shoots and screens miniature films starring its audience. Audiences are welcomed aboard the horse box where they are fully immersed in a unique and complete film making experience. It produces bespoke film making experiences and events for a variety of occasions and clients. Since launching in 2009 it has featured on BBC television, entertained audiences at Glastonbury, and been short listed for a UK Festival Award.
Hailed by Time Out "Simply the best new night in the capital". Filmeopia launched a popular London club night in January 2009 at Nottinghill Arts Club. Combining a dance floor with a makeshift movie set and a bar with a contemporary cinema screen, Filmeopia recreated DIY tributes to numerous cult films along aside live bands and Djs. For the past three summers Filmeopia have transported their mobile film set to some of the biggest festivals in the country including Shangri-la at Glastonbury, Latitude, Green Man, Boomtown, Secret Garden Party, Bestival and Camp Festival among others.
This interactive activity is very popular at events and campaigns as it creates a memorable experience for audiences - they feel like movie stars for a day! Jaws, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Wizard of Oz all feature.
