Duke are a beatbox band like no other. Born out of Cheltenham they quickly made their name through open-mic nights impressing and entertaining with their extraordinary talent and unique style!
Duke perform a massive array of covers with only three voices and one guitar, incorporating beatbox and vocal basslines, intelligently mixing song into song with high energy and absolutely no backing tracks, looping or sampling.
They have played at some of music’s biggest festivals including Leeds Festival, Boardmasters, Freeze Festival, Lovebox, Parklife, Runescape, Little World Festival Meribel and in some of the biggest arenas around the World - O2 Arena, NIA Birmingham, Echo Arena Liverpool and The Rio Hotel in Las Vegas.
Duke have also joined some of music’s biggest names on stage including Prince which was at his personal request, Amy Winehouse, Beverley Knight, Jocelyn Brown, Ms Dynamite, Shy FX, Rodney P, Alicia Dixon and many more.
They have also supported the likes of Jessie J, The Feeling, Stooshe, Jaguar Skills, N-Dubz on tour and played for some big names in the World of sport and entertainment who recognised their talents and ability to put on an amazing performance whose names including Jenson Button, Wayne & Coleen Rooney, Prince again (who is obviously a big fan), Djibril Cisse and John O’Shea.
Duke also perform regularly at corporate parties for Vodafone and 3 Mobile.
