The professional Rangoli Artist has 27 years of experience creating traditional as well as modern Rangoli designs for local and international clients.
Having discovered his passion for the ancient south Asian art form is his childhood in Asia, learning from both his grandmother and mother, The Rangoli Artist won first prize in his school competition and went on to win first place consecutively in fifteen prestigious Rangoli competitions, internationally.
Practices include:
Creating traditional Rangoli pieces;
Creating contemporary and pop Rangoli art to create one off works for twenty first century audiences;
Creating bespoke Rangoli art for weddings;
Artist lead activities and interactive workshops for corporate events and team-building experiences.
What is a Rangoli?
A traditional Rangoli is a Mandala, which is a geometric pattern from the Vedic tradition that represents the cosmos and universe.
