Chinese dance dates back nearly 5,000 years. As in many cultures around the world, early Chinese dancers were a religious expression and closely linked to life experiences and concerns.
A professional dancer, teacher and choreographer our Chinese dancer began her career at an early age studying acrobatics and Chinese dance. Her training continued at the famous Beijing Dance Academy where she studied Traditional Chinese Dance, Chinese Folk and Choreography.
Having toured Europe and the Far East she has gained valuable experience as a performer. With many theatre and television credits in China under her belt, our Chinese dancer has now come to share her skills with people in the UK.
Her performances include different types of Chinese dance and acrobatics , diabolo playing, martial arts with a sword, 12 meter long ribbon dance and an umbrella dance to name just a few.
