Activity Summary

Dogs Trust appointed Kru Talent to deliver the perfect guest appearance for their 2nd Conference Dinner organised for the 100 staff who work directly with dogs at Dogs Trust centres around the country. The dinner – which followed a full day of training and behaviour presentations – was a celebration of the staff as individuals and as teams, underpinning their hard work, dedication and commitment to Dogs Trust and all the dogs in their care.

The event was sponsored by UK’s favourite pet insurance provider Petplan who have worked with the Dogs Trust for over 10 years and donated nearly 5 million pounds to the charity in that time.

Keeping in mind that Dogs Trust wanted to end the conference on a fun and light-hearted note, we booked Steph & Dom – Gogglebox stars and proud owners of one of the most famous British sausage dogs Gigi – to host the dinner.

The evening started with an introduction of Steph & Dom (and Gigi!) they were then welcomed on stage by Dogs Trust Rehoming Director Giles Webber and invited to say a few words about their lifestyle, careers and new book. This was then followed by a Q&A from the guests!

They then spent some time mingling around the tables and chatting with staff and volunteers before they helped Alex Noyce from Petplan present and hand out a couple of staff awards at the end of the night.
